With the blessing of traveling abroad at a young age, Carleton gathered inspiration from all over Europe. While getting her degree from the University of Alabama, she studied art and art history in the picturesque country of Italy, as well as interned for a Birmingham designer. After graduating with a degree in interior design, Carleton was drawn to New Orleans’ reputation for its art, character, and most importantly, its architecture. Carleton worked at Moss Antiques and Keil’s Antiques on the world renowned Royal Street. With a city full of history and antiques, she learned a great deal about the quality and periods of antiques.
